I Started "Stripping"

This post is sponsored by Bioré, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

The weather in New York City has been quite hormonal. We went from 50 degrees to below zero and back to 60 in less than two weeks. Of course, with these sudden changes, my skin wasn’t too fond of me. I’ve yet to transition from the Fall skincare routine to my winter routine and she’s paying for it. With the weather changing so quickly, I needed a restart and a routine that will help prevent breakouts and unclog my pores. I’ve been using the Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore StripsBioré® Pore Clarifying Toner for 7 days and the results are amazing. I didn’t realize stripping was going to be this fun. Haha! Let’s get into my routine!

First, we begin the process with a natural facial cleanser. Ensure that you rub in a circular motion on your face then rinse to get all the guck out. My favorite step is the Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. You wet your nose a bit, peel strip and place/smooth out on your nose to ensure that you have good contact. Keep it on for 15 minutes. During this time, I use my detoxifying clay mask to begin my skin detoxification (on my cheeks & forehead), while simultaneously doing my lip exfoliation. Once the 15 minutes are up, I rinse my face thoroughly followed by removing the strip. At this point, my skin feels glorious. With the Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, they use a blend of C-bond technology to safely remove dirt, oil, and blackheads. What takes place when you use a strip? They work like a super magnet, locking onto and lifting out deep-down dirt, oil, and gooey blackheads from your extremely clogged pores. You know the hype is legitimate when dermatologist trust Bioré® Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Who knew stripping would get so real? Ha!

For my second to last step, I use the Bioré® Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner. I dab a few drops of this lightweight on to a cotton ball and cleanse my skin. At first, I thought – witch hazel? Seriously? However, I was ignorant to the fact that Witch Hazel has been around for a while and is considered for multi-purpose remedies because of its astringent and pore cleansing properties. It’s known to tighten, purify, refresh and help heal your skin. After a few days of incorporating this important step into my routine, I notice my tone beginning to even and it’s less oily than normal. As for my final step, I always moisturize before heading out. This ensures that I lock all the moisture and care into my pores before hitting the streets.

Thanks to Biore I know what it’s like to strip and deep cleanse without my typical 20 step routine. If you’re hoping to improve your routine and get more bang for your buck while taking your skin from 0-100, consider heading over to Walmart.com and picking up your own Bioré® Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips and Bioré® Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner. Together, I’m sure they’ll help keep the winter woes away.

Until next time,
Stay warm Bellas!
