One Word That Boosts My Mood

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Tampax Radiant at Walmart. The opinions and text are all mine.

I don't know about you, but I love Summer. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a summer baby (August 17th - Leo in the house!!!), but Summer is that time of year I get to revamp myself all over again and have fun while doing it. I get to play with dresses, crop tops, ripped jeans, booty shorts, and everything else in between. I'm sure you've seen plenty of those already, but on occasion, I like to get semi-dressed up for a brunch date with the honey and explore the city. To help you boost your mood, brunch date, and overall attitude for the summer, here are a few tips I implement:

Tip #1: Compliment

I know you love that Summer dress babe, I really do. I feel your pain when I don't wear it too. However, your honey might just be a little too overwhelmed by seeing every other shorty passing by in a summer dress and tank top, so wear something simple. Find a cute dress that shows just enough when you sit down across from them to leave some imagination, that compliments your body type, accentuates your curves, and boosts your confidence.

Tip #2: Think High

Yes, it's summer and that means sandals all day. However, a hot pair of heels to compliment your dress does a lot during your brunch date with bae. It naturally fixes your posture and give you that "boss" attitude, with a little sex appeal. PS: Wearing heels give your tush a little boost as well if you know what I mean. I always go for something simple if my dress is loud or vice verse.

Tip #3: Skincare is the BEST Care.

It’s summer, Love. Let go of the heavy foundations and concealers. Invest in your skincare routine. Before you know it, your skin will have a summer glow without the tanning salon and extended tanning time on someone’s beach. Of course, you are what you eat and that affects your skin but taking care of your skin woes will boost your confidence and YOUR SUMMER MOOD all summer long. If you think I’m kidding, check out @ThisThatBeauty on Instagram. She'll have you looking like skin got kissed by the gods, honey! Over the course of 15 days, I saw a dramatic change in my skin by simply just paying attention to it. My skincare routine: Cleanser, Scrub, Toner, Serum, and moisturizer. Just like that, you’ll be looking like you got kissed by the sun.

Tip #4: Pack for Emergencies.

Yes, you’re out having fun with bae and all of a sudden, you felt it. You know what I’m talking about. I’m talking about periods baby! But no worries, you’re all set because you packed your Tampax Pocket Radiant tampons, available at Walmart. Not every outfit requires a pad and pulling out a large tampon is not an option at your day date with your baby boo. The word “pocket” really means pocket-size. Tampax Pocket Radiant tampons are so small and discreet that you can slip into your back pocket or in a small pouch. That way no one needs to know your business while you handle your business. And if you decided to wear those white pants to your date, you’re all good. Tampax’s tampons provides a Leakguard Braid protection system and keep you feeling calm, sexy, and cool. Trust me! I find myself carrying these with me to weddings and photo shoots just in case Mother Nature decides to throw a curve my way.

Now that you've got all my basic summer tips, go out and live your best life with your bae. Make those memories, take those pictures, wear those heels, and put on that lipstick. I know I definitely will!

PS: You can cop these Tampax Pocket Radiant tampons at Walmart. It's super affordable. And if you're like me and you like to shop online, it's also at Walmart.com. Happy Summer Living!
