Let's keep it 100. I've been on this "let's make better life choices" thing for the last couple of weeks. I'm not going to say it's great, because to be honest, I've been sneaking in Fried Chicken here and there. My entire routine is simple. I just need to stay away from fried things, no bread, consume a lot of water/fruits/veggies, and somehow add in proteins without eating pork. It's hard for a girl like me. I love food. Not to mention, my anxiety was at an all time high and I need to get my life together. For real this time, I do. I really do. 

After struggling the first 14 days, I've finally created and maintained a routine that stuck. Every morning, I'd say my affirmations, hop in the shower, and immediately sit on my mat with my journal, Love Louder by Preston Smile (it's SO GOOD), and a glass of smoothie or cup of tea. My BFF has been pestering me about this Matcha business, so instead of my routine tea/smoothie, I've replaced it with Organic Matcha DNA

If you're expecting me to say, "OH MY GOD! I immediately fell in love", I'd be a big fat liar. Anything that has a taste of green doesn't make me happy. But when you read the ingredients and explore the benefits of consuming Matcha, I decided that I needed to try it again. So the next day I did, and after that, it stuck.

I must admit, it's a taste you eventually become acquired to like coffee. PS: I hate coffee because it tastes like brown yuck! With Organic Matcha DNA, although the initial taste wasn't pleasant, I continued every morning and reaped the benefits. Now, I can't get enough of it.

Organic Matcha DNA is pretty easy to make as well. All you have to do is:

  1. Boil some water
  2. Take 1/2 spoon of Matcha powder on put in a mug/cup of your choice.
  3. Add the hot water
  4. Stir until it blends
  5. Boom! Heaven and good health in a cup. PS: You can add ice and shake well if you want it cold.

The benefits I've reaped so far is exactly what I needed being a freelancing creative. There were days I was so tired even after 8 hours of sleep, I lacked energy & focus, my skin was breaking out, my stomach had it's own brain, and my weight gain was out of control. With Organic Matcha DNA, I've been able to sleep well, awake with so much energy & vigor, my stomach issues are going away, my skin is all clear and smooth, and I find that drinking it decreased my cravings to eat junk. So guess what? Your girl is on a path to losing some not so needed fat.

Is it for everyone? You'd have to try it to find out. For me, I think I'll keep this Matcha baby as a part of my morning routines. It hasn't done me harm and gave me a whole lot of good.
