Blue Grey Skies

Can you tell that I am a shoe addict?

When these babies came in the mail, I wasted no time in putting an outfit together. One thing I've learned being surrounded by menswear influencers (both male and female), sometimes simplicity is the best way to go.

With a pair such as these, I didn't want to take all the attention away by wearing something overly extravagant and floral. I tried solid colors and a hint of color blocking (my attempt at least). This sweater was bought on sale (like I said before, no shame in my fashion game) and I love the lightness of it. However, upon receiving it I realized the sleeves were shorter than usual, so I improvised.

Other than the fact that I am in love with my Ruby Woo +Stunner combination, I wore red because it was a beautiful contrast compared to the cool tones of the outfit. I figured why not add something that pops and it worked perfectly. I matched the heels to clutch to maintain some level of synchronization within the outfit. And if you haven't paid attention enough, my hairstyle was inspired by Janelle Monae. Updos are always a plus for date nights. It keeps everything in place. ;-)
